Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving…so I guess the question is, what am I thankful for?
Now since this is country-themed, I think I’ll have a quick go at it and maybe a few readers to can comment on their own ideas.
Alrighty then, lets’ go:
- I am thankful for the Emmylou Harris' "Boulder to Birmingham", the lyric, the melody and the vocal can get me through any day.
- Keith Urban...giving Aussie country a voice, even if that voice happens to sound slightly American.
- For Sugarland, for converting many a pop audience into a country audience.
- Porter Wagoner, for spending over half a century entertaining an audience - Porter, you will not be forgotten.
- Reba "Duets", one of the best albums of the year in my opinion, and one of the more eclectic compositions you'll find out there today.
- For Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" - say it with me - CROSSOVER GOLD.
- Taylor Swift, for showing the world that country music can be fun, and young.
- Brooks and Dunn, see you in March '08 boys!
- For Brad Paisley's ability to keep the tradition alive and for Online.
- And finally, for George Strait, you are the King and you are still producing amazing music.
