JCHMiniature Spotlight: Gloriana

As new kids on the block, Gloriana bring to the table a number of admirable qualities including but not limited to impressive harmonies, memorable hooks and a gleaming sound. As a measuring stick, Gloriana are a little less marshy than Little Big Town and make use of pop overtones whilst failing to sound quite like anything else currently on country radio right now which has the potential intrigue listeners.
The group is composed of four members, brothers Mark (vocals, guitar) and Tom Gossin (vocals, guitar), along with Rachel Reinart (vocals) and former Epic recording artist and MTV reality veteran Cheyenne Kimball (vocals, mandolin). Also of note, the band are set to accompany Taylor Swift (along with Kellie Pickler) on her 2009 Fearless tour.
With their notable slot on the Fearless tour, compounded with Matt Serletic (a record producer and owner of Emblem Music Group who has most notably worked with such names as Matchbox Twenty and Taylor Swift) backing them (much like the early days of Taylor Swift and Big Machine Records), Gloriana may not need the support of a major Nashville label to make their mark.
Their lead single "Wild At Heart" is currently sitting at number thirty-four on the Country singles chart.
