Just a quickie review...

Artist: Kellie Pickler

Track: Don't You Know You're Beautiful

In a word: Radio gold

Key Lyric: "I’d bet they’d tell you they wish they had their innocence back." In reference to the deflowering of other females...I don't think I'm supposed to be laughing at that, but I am.


Love it or hate it?: Somewhere in between.

Why?: It's radio friendly disposable Nashville...nothing more, nothing less. It's going to be pushed hard by BNA and radio will respond happily.

The Bad?: This song will not be remembered in a year, guaranteed.

Grade: 6.5/10

The Nashville Sound
It's a shame, because the Pickler is such an emotive vocalist and her abilities are wasted on this track. Oh well, I'll just hark back to her performance of "I Wonder" at the CMA Awards to remind myself of what the girl can do.
